“Even if you must die, you will still try to protect your brother. You are a great sister, aren’t you?” His voice was cold and taunting.

“Could… could you turn on the lights, please?” Carolina tried to regain her composure, suppressing her fear.

“I prefer the darkness.” He, indeed, was an enigmatic person, as her colleagues had described him. They had always talked about how mysterious and unpredictable the CEO, Mr. Red, was.

A warm breath brushed against her, and suddenly, a hand grabbed her from behind, causing her whole body to stiffen with fear. The warm breath whispered in her ear, and Carolina swiftly turned around, pushing him away. She took a few steps back, her back pressed against the cold wall.

The lights in the room suddenly illuminated, and the sudden brightness overwhelmed her eyes. She hurriedly raised her hand to shield her face. As her arm lowered, she saw a man standing before her. He was cold and captivating, with sharp and handsome feature
