After leaving Aurora’s house, Red returned to the adjacent room. He decided not to confront her directly about his suspicions. Instead, he had come up with another plan.

Aurora had always been wary of him, not afraid but cautious. Moreover, based on the information he had gathered, it was clear that she was a very private person. She had raised her child independently, seemingly without ever accepting help from others. She concealed and disguised herself very well. The more secretive she was, the more likely she had something to hide. Therefore, Red was confident that Aurora had some secret.

He didn’t have any concrete leads, though. He could only base his suspicions on her visit to Ryan’s grave. It wasn’t conclusive evidence of anything. So, first, he needed to call his subordinates and confirm where she had been today. Once he collected more clues, he would see what Aurora had to say.
