He came to her side and took her hands in his, threading their fingers together. She found the gesture strangely intimate but quickly shook the thought away,
This was casual and she could do casual.
"Really? I think I've passed the qualification of not being a stranger to Alexander Grey." She wiggled her eyebrows suggestively.
Alex smirked, "Don't push your luck, foxy."
She rolled her eyes but remained quiet, allowing him to lead her inside the building. "Foxy? That's the best nickname you could come up with?"
The elevator doors opened silently and she stepped into the elevator. He refused to answer her question, instead busying himself with the buttons but she could see the pleased look on his face.
His smirk turned smug as he pushed the button for the top floor. The elevator slowly rose upwards and she shifted on her feet, her eyes lingering on the blinking buttons, particularly on the one he pushed,
