Sydney's POV

“Sydney, are you ready? You’re next! Best of luck!” announced Cheryl, the event manager of L’Étoile. It was a fashion house in Paris where I had been working for almost a year. 

“Thanks! We’re ready to set the stage on fire!” I was beyond excited to be a part of Paris Fashion Week for the first time in my life. Never had I expected to achieve so much in such a brief span of twelve months. 

When I had walked out of Killian’s house with limited money, I had been stranded in New York for five days. It was then that I considered coming to Paris, and there has been no looking back since then. Paris welcomed me with open arms, and it has been my home ever since. 

“I know you will. L’Étoile is proud to have you on board. Tristan Sir has pinned his hopes on this event. Make us proud, girl!” She walked away, and I looked around for my models only to see them ready in my latest fall/winter collection.
