Book 5: Let’s Make Memories

The beautiful alpine forests on either side of the US-50W didn’t charm Iris. Her heart somersaulted with happiness at the thought of uniting with her brothers after almost a month. 

With urgent work coming up, Maddox had to check out immediately. But he hadn’t forgotten his promise, heading to Stanford University to meet the twins before returning home. She was indebted to him for prioritizing her. Yet her heart bled for what could have happened if they had stayed longer in Lake Tahoe. 

They both had craved it. What if they never get another chance? 

The future looked bleak with the latest mishap. Iris was very pleased to have the money in her bank, but she feared his family’s wrath. What if they punished her? With Maddox revolting against them, inevitably, all their wrath would fall on her. How would she handle it? What if Maddox’s parents recognized her? Would Maddox support them and throw her out of his life? 

She closed her eyes, remembering
