“You can stay here as long as you want, Iris. Where will you go?” Roselyn tried her best to convince Iris, but she was determined. She couldn’t stay at her friend’s apartment with her mother and stepfather. With Roselyn moving into Declan Forrester’s house as his fake fiancée, she had to leave as well. 

“No, Rose. Your mom hates me, and so does your stepfather. I can’t be a burden to them.” After the disastrous night, she had been hiding here to nurture her broken heart. Maddox’s betrayal had broken her completely. The tears had dried up now, but she couldn’t move on from that night. 

The photographs Lucille had sent her were telltale proof of that night. She had seen them once. They were disturbing, devastating! She couldn’t see them together, naked and wrapped up in each other’s arms.
