Book 5: Where’s the Secret Will?

For the next few days, Maddox and Camille were busy with their father’s funeral. Their mom put on a fake act in front of everyone to prove how devastated she was. With a house full of guests, Maddox didn’t confront her. Surprisingly, Lucille returned home to grieve alongside his mom. Seeing her, his blood boiled, but he controlled the fury and ignored her. 

Gavin had called him to inform him about his sudden trip home to Vancouver. His mother was unwell, and he had to leave. Maddox waited for him, especially for Iris’s phone.
