Seven months later...

Danielle returned home from her doctor’s visit. With her delivery almost two weeks away, she had difficulty performing the day-to-day tasks. Yet she faced everything bravely. She hadn’t expected to face so many problems since didn’t know she was pregnant with twins!

It was only after returning from New York seven months ago did she realize her state. It had been a lone struggle since then. Although Aunt Maggie offered help, Danielle didn’t want to bother her. She had learned to look after herself!

Ever since that fateful night, Knox hadn’t disturbed her even once. She knew he kept tabs on her, but that was just a hunch. She wasn’t sure. He still hadn’t married Kendall, despite being engaged to her. However, it didn’t affect her. She had buried that part of her life.

With her condition, it was difficult to pull the hiked rent of the Cube Office Complex. Since she refused to run her business on Knox’s charity, Danielle shifted into a small
