Chapter 60. Fake

Azeeva’s POV

How strange.

Madam Jenn and Alex didn’t do anything. They were waiting sweetly. What were they waiting for? My appearance? Or what?

As I tried to guess, Dad jerked violently and spit out thick black blood. I immediately tugged on Justin’s arm and lost my mind. I told him to come down, but he refused, saying it was too dangerous to come down now, and that’s what they wanted: their wedding couldn’t happen without my blood.

“MY DAD IS DYING DOWN THERE, JUSTIN!”

For the first time, I yelled at Justin loudly. My eyes were red, and I couldn’t imagine the worst. I was going home without my father. Justin could be heard howling desperately at me.

“Take me to see my father now, and if they get my blood. Please keep fighting for my father to get home before they conquer his soul completely.”

We both landed. Justin, in human form, looked at me quizzically.
