Chapter 97. Hell Bye

Azeeva’s POV

Oh my. This vent is so long and winding. I had to choose my path randomly while my back was already hurting. Finally, I saw a bit of light through the metal frame of the cover. I accelerated my knees to move forward, like a mouse finding imported cheese, haha. I grabbed the metal frame and shook it to open it. Stupid when all I had to do was push it hard. I would have cast a spell if I still had my strength.

PRANGGG!

The metal frame of the cover just fell. Now, I could see my only car parked with some car maintenance tools hanging on the wall. As I lowered my head to get out, a pair of feet suddenly approached and stopped right in front of me. My whole body froze. I already knew who the feet belonged to. Therefore, I couldn’t lift my head anymore. I pushed my body as hard as I could into the vent. But my legs couldn’t escape its firm grip.

Even so, I relied on my knees to keep moving. However, the monster didn’t give up on pulling me out.
