Nervously I stand in front of the mirror and look at my effigy.

My wide dress falls beautifully over my swollen belly.

Yes, I think I am ready for this big moment. On the bed are the presents I wrapped beautifully with special paper. I have not told Jasper what I am planning; I want to wait and see how it all turns out first. In case I succeed, the surprise will make him so happy. But I dare not guess what it will mean if everything falls apart.

I hold my hopes high and trust that Jasper's family also wants to see him happy.
