Alpha Lucas's POV

'Ahh!' I am more than confused at this point. A person's life is at risk; a big risk and I have a lover that wants to speak with me.

How am I so torn between a choice. It's like I am at a disadvantage at this point. I don't know why she chose to speak with me during this period.

I can't tell her I am not available, because I actually got her angry and I must be available to speak with her.

'What sort of thing is this? How do I explain to her that I have to be on another case… Fuck!' 

Those words hang in my head and I am losing my mind. 

"Alpha! Can I come in?" 

Her voice comes in, clean and clear. My heart turtled, I know I can't make her stand for hours without speaking to her.

I am really in trouble at this point. For Stella to make this kind of move, I know she has really thought about it…. Very hard.

I am kind of confused, really confused. I am trying to get the point here, but I can't get it.
