Chapter 52

Akira's POV

I know I have to do this, I don't have a choice since the Alpha wouldn't just release me. I have to do this.

I just intentionally lay on the floor as if I am dead.

While I pretend to be dead, a guard unlocks my door and enters the room. Seeing me lifeless, he screams out, 'Mam!' His voice went out so loud that it alerted the other guards. Getting my body, they examined me and couldn't fathom what was really wrong.

"Get the physicians to come," I heard one say to another.

I hope my cover is not blown no matter what. I will have to keep up with this until I am out of this pathetic place.

I know this would displace the fearless Alpha. He would feel a sense of guilt that I got attacked not knowing nothing happened to me.

This is just a charade, a charade that will get me out of all this mess.
