Chapter 129. I Want Her Safe

Third-Person POV

“Speak up!” Alpha Sean howled.

“Well, I am… I mean, yes, my father is late but my mother is still alive!” Anna said.

“So, why did you lead the pack to believing your mother is dead? And if I recall correctly, a funeral was held for her and she was lowered into the ground,” Alpha Sean asked, brows furrowed as he fought to understand what was going on. “Are you saying the person we buried that day was not your mother?”

“Yes,” Anna replied. At least that was the truth. “She was not my biological mother. She was my adopted mother. I found my biological mother afterwards,” she explained.

So, that was how it was, Alpha Sean thought to himself. He had started thinking that his whole household was lying to him and keeping secrets from him.

“Then why didn’t you let us know that your biological mother had been found?” he asked.

“I am little more than an Omega and I didn’t think it was necessary to disturb the peace of the pack
