Iris’s POV

It was really surprising how things turned out. I still believe that Adrian had lost his memory but it was obvious he wasn’t faking it. Well, it was no business of mine.

“Iris, I am happy you had a great time at the party yesterday,” my mum, Luna Millicent, said, smiling affectionately at me. “I am relieved that you have started living again. What is the name of that young man you were with again?” she asked.

“Mum, you have started,” I said, hedging. “I was with a lot of young men! I don’t know the one you are particular about!”

“If you didn’t know the person I am referring to, why are you blushing?” she asked, raising an eyebrow, playfully at me.

“I am blushing because this discussion is ridiculous, Mum!” I said, seriously. “Speaking and dancing with anyone does not necessarily mean I have accepted to date them or worse marry them!”
