Millicent’s POV
As we walked home from the seer’s, a fresh determination to get my daughter back assailed me. I was not going to give up. I was going to find Lilibeth and the Goddess will not be able to save her from my wrath!
The next day, as I prepared to set out on the search, Sylvester wanted to come with me but I refused.
“You need to stay in the pack and oversee its affairs,” I said. “I have all the weapon I need and the Goddess is with me.”
He at first would not bulge. “Remember the pack comes first,” I told him.
“It is also the Pack’s affairs we ate going for,” he reasoned. “Afterall, Iris is the Pack’s princess and getting her back should take top priority!”
“You are right and that’s why I’m going,” I said. “Both of us cannot just leave and don’t be afraid that Lilibeth will harm me. She can’t. You should be scared of what I’d do to her when I see her because I shall definitely see her today!”
