Chapter 177. I’ll Let No Harm Come to You!

Adrian went into their room after speaking with his mother and found Iris sleeping.

He stood looking at her for a long time, thinking that she was indeed a lovely girl. His gaze shifted to her stomach and his heart twisted and he vowed he wasn’t going to allow any harm befall his pup no matter the situation between him and Iris.

He walked away from the door and went towards the bed Iris was lying in as though in a trance. He knew Iris was out and wouldn’t wake easily due to the medications she had been given.

“I have given your Luna her medications,” the doctor said. “She should not be disturbed. The medicine will put her to deep sleep, though a mild sedative because of her condition, it will still make her sleep deeply because of her injuries and the stress she’s been through!”
