Chapter 71. Take Me to My Parents’ Graves

At the gravestone of her parents, Millicent wept, reliving again the events that took place in her pack eleven years ago.

“I shall bring you justice!” she said as her tears dropped on the grave. “I shall make sure, Sylvester and any other person responsible for your deaths pay for this. I shall avenge you!” she howled loudly, looking up as she howled the vow.

After that she stood and Cara walked her back home.

“Don’t you want to see the pack?” she asked.

“Not now!” Millicent said, bitterness in her heart. Old wounds had just been reopened.

“Good decision! Remember the vow you just howled to your parents and do not grow faint in its execution,” Cara advised. “Also, there is a lot more I have to tell you.
