That morning, the sun was already high when Damian arrived at the construction site. Dust filled the air as workers began marking the foundation area. Tamara stood not far from him, reviewing the design plans on her tablet. Her hair was tied in a ponytail, her face serious.
“Looks like everything’s on schedule,” Tamara said, glancing briefly at Damian.
Damian nodded. “Let’s hope it stays that way until the end.”
