Chapter 152

Tamara hurried to the bathroom. Damian, now panicked, followed her right away. From outside the door, he could hear her throwing up.

“Tamara? Are you okay?” Damian knocked on the door anxiously.

A few seconds later, the door opened, and Tamara stepped out, looking pale. “I… don’t know why. I suddenly felt nauseous.”

Her body swayed, but Damian caught her just in time. “Hey, sit down… or better yet, let’s go to the bedroom.”

Without another word, Damian carried Tamara to the master bedroom. He laid her down on the bed, then grabbed his phone from the nightstand.

“I’m calling the family doctor now,” he said firmly while dialing the number.

Tamara tried to stop him. “Dam, don’t worry too much. Maybe it’s just indigestion.”

Damian looked at her sharply. “Tam, I’m not taking any chances. You look really pale.”
