Chapter 56
“We’ve begun, but the internal reports are messy and unclear. We need you to check it personally. I’ve prepared all the data.”
Elena exhaled slowly.
“Send everything to my email now. I want the last three months of financial reports, a list of canceled contracts, and a copy of the latest internal audit.”
“Yes, Mrs. Queen. Sending it right away.”
The call ended. Elena massaged her temples lightly, then opened her laptop on the bedside table. Within minutes, Holic’s email arrived—flooding her inbox with documents like bad news piling up too fast to breathe.
She opened one file after another. Her eyes scanned through the numbers, charts, and tables carefully.
“This doesn’t add up,” she muttered.
“The Gaudia Avenue project costs have spiked in the last two months, but there’s barely been any progress?”
She opened another folder. Vendor names and invoices flew past her sharp gaze.
“Who are these? New vendors without master contracts?”
