Elias’s POV
“You know why I can’t stop yet? It’s not enough. I need to take them down.”
Tommy gave me a long, steady look and then sighed. “Well, if you’re going to do that, you need your coffee first. Make it quick—I’m on hazard.”
“Thanks, Tommy.” I grinned, closed the door behind me, and headed for the café.
Halfway across the street, I threw my coat onto my shoulders in one fluid motion. A few pedestrians glanced my way, as if watching some action-star stunt. I couldn’t blame them—that’s just how I roll.
