Maya’s POV

This project is proving trickier than I expected, but the brainstorming process is exhilarating. Back at the Richardsons, I never got to participate in this kind of creative work—they literally wouldn’t listen to a woman. Patriarchal douchebags, all of them. Oh well. Their loss.

Let’s focus. I need a concept that’s people-centered, incorporates cutting-edge technology, and dovetails with Hart’s current portfolio. Hart Unlimited spans a huge range of products and services under its umbrella, but its real crown jewels are in real estate—hotels and restaurants. They also manage private clubs, theme parks, and other leisure venues. On the side, thanks to the influence of former Hart wives, they do haute couture and high-end jewelry. Now, the question is: how do we weave technology into all of that?

“You come up with anything yet?” Thomas a
