Richard’s POV
The bell for the party reminder rang, and even though the whole house was empty except for us that had been in there since, once the people started arriving, they would arrive in numbers.
“I just hope this Christmas turns out well. I just want to enjoy Christmas in peace!” I voiced out to Reagan.
“We just take things one step at a time!”
I guess that was what we were going to do.
She excused herself out of my room back to her room so she could get dressed.
Anita had cut our meeting short when she appeared in the hallway, but I told Norman to disable the tracker, which he definitely did, I guess.
Anita had not only been acting pretty strange, but she had been more secretive and less open.
I was worried, but I didn’t see why I should be.
I got up, let out a deep sigh, and started to get ready.
Now that the party was here, I had a different kind of nervousness apart from facing Anita’s enemy.
