It was one of those days when time didn’t pass. The hands of the clock were just frozen in one place and they were not planning to move anytime soon. A few hours left.

He couldn’t wait to get back home to his mate. He’d never thought it would be like this. His job had been his life since he could remember. It had always been the most important thing to him, the way it had been for his father.

But now– there was only one thing he wanted. And it was to go home to Killian.

Mike spent the entire day talking to the press answering all kinds of questions he did not want to answer. It was horrible but it was over soon.
