I have finally told Zaiden I liked him. I didn’t know how he would respond to me. He was quiet after hearing me. In fact, he was looking at me blankly, as if I told him I was pregnant.

“Zaiden, are you okay?” I asked when he was quiet.

My jaw dropped at his words. I just told him I liked him and he didn't even bother to reply. He simply avoided me.
