“Jeromy confessed?” Nathan asked expectantly in shock. He thought Jeromy would never.
“Yes, he did.” Detective Conan answered Nathan.
Nathan didn’t know if he should be happy or sad. Maybe he could be both. Happy because his grandfather’s killer had been found and sad because of the memories it brought back to him.
“Who is it?” Nathan wanted to know.
“Not here, but at the station,” Detective Conan said to Nathan. He wanted it to be confidential and private.
“Is that really necessary?” Nathan asked Detective Conan. Nathan could not wait to get the name of the person. He felt like going to the station would take a lot of time, and time and patience were two things he wasn’t ready to exhibit.
Nathan just wished Conan would have taken him to the station first before letting him know of Jeromy’s confession.
“I think you really need to be at the station to digest everything,” Detective Conan said to Nathan.
