“The DNA results are out?” Nathan asked.

“Yes,” the man answered him. “Dr. Holland wanted you to come over so he could hand it to you by himself.”

“You should have called me then,” Nathan said.

“Oh,” Nathan said after realizing his battery was flat. “I understand now,” Nathan said.

“Tell him I’ll be there in a short while,” Nathan said to the man.

“Okay,” the man departed.

Madison and the rest of them waited patiently for Nathan to end his discussion at the door.

“Who was that?” Madison asked when he came back.

“Just someone from the hospital,” Nathan answered.

“But what did he want?” Madison asked further.

“Nothing, he was just here to inform me that the DNA results were out.”
