“Babe?” Nathan held Madison like an egg which was liable to break with any slightest mishandling.
“Yes,” Madison responded with an eyes filled with tears.
“You remember everything?” Nathan was apprehensive when he asked.
“Everything my love—every single damn thing.” Madison squeezed his face tight and kissed him.
They even forgot that there was a vehicle waiting for them to move so it could depart.
“Excuse me,” the man behind the wheels said politely after enjoying their heartwarming moment for a while.
The near accident experience triggered Madison’s memory to come back.
“I’ve missed you, Maddie.” Nathan poured out his heart and his feelings to her. He made sure to let her know how many nights he stayed up, wishing upon the stars for a miracle to happen. Nathan was crying like a child and was grateful as a commoner would be whenever a beautiful deed was done to him .
