Chapter 122

Nathan had to excuse himself to meet with Detective Conan outside the ward.

“Can you please stay with Max till I get back?” Nathan asked Madison.

Even though Madison was still upset with him, she was still concerned about him.

“And where are you going?” Madison asked Nathan while the doctor was busy getting familiar with Max.

“I just need to see Detective Conan outside,” Nathan answered. “I won’t be long,” he promised.

Madison sighed softly. “Detective Conan is outside?”

It was like she hated him already for not being able to find her sister. Like Detective Conan would always say:

“They needed to be patient.”

“I’ll be back in no time,” Nathan said again to Madison before leaving the ward. Not to forget, he also spoke to Max.

“Daddy will be back in a bit,” Nathan only told him. “The doctor is here to help you.”

After that, Nathan then left the ward. He had to wait outside for a couple of minutes before Detective Conan could
