Chapter 59
Henry hurried to the place Lila asked him to meet up with her. The same place at the outskirts of New York City. He wasn’t himself after listening to what Lila told him. Even worse, keeping him in suspense. Something that he hated so much.
“Here he is,” Lila said to Vera as she spotted him trying to maneuver his car into the limited parking space.
“Fuck!” he screamed and banged his hand on his staring after mildly crashing his car into a tree. “I hate all of this!” he screamed and flung the car door open in a violent and aggressive manner.
“What is wrong with him?” Vera asked Lila. It seemed Lila knew him better than Vera did.
“I don’t know what his problem is,” Lila said. “I haven’t even told him what the problem is, and he is already furious.”
They kept watching him from the window as he furiously approached the door. Henry was very obsessed with the Westbrook property. Any sign of a problem felt like a threat to the inheritance.
