Sia met Henry’s enraged eyes as he stared at her with fury. She trembled the most at the moment he looked down to find the will of Mr. Jones Westbrook in her hands.
“Henry?” she called him softly, her lips trembling. She didn’t know what excuse she would give; there was none.
“What are you doing here?” he asked her angrily. She could look into his eyes and see that everything was not okay with him.
“I-I…” she struggled to speak. Her tongue was uncontrollably dangling in her mouth.
“Can’t you speak again, Sia?” he asked. His facial expression was scary; it was as if he wanted to tear her up that instant. Her knees knocked against each other faster than anything she could imagine. She was even struggling to remain standing.
