Chapter 67
The public holidays were over, and it was another day to get to the office. Madison expected to see Sia or a call from her to explain her absence. Yet, at 12 PM, no call and no turn-up.
Madison reached the height of it. She was deeply worried.
“Knock! Knock!”
Madison knocked at the door of the new CEO’s office.
“Come in!” Henry’s deep, cold voice shouted from within.
Madison pushed the door open and stepped in.
“Maddie,” Henry said with a blissful smile. He looked to be very happy that morning.
“Good morning, sir,” Madison addressed him officially.
“Come on,” He smiled. “It’s still Henry.”
“Have a seat, please,” he told Madison. “So what’s your purpose for coming to my office so early?” he asked her.
“I’m worried about Sia,” Madison sounded really concerned. She had not been herself since Sia supposedly went missing. “She should be present today or at least call in to give reasons for her absence,” Madison observed.
