Chapter 14. At a Pub
Rachel swiveled around to see Ezekiel in her formal uniform, with no rifles, and just an atmosphere of a guy who just went off-work and is attending a party. She didn’t respond fast and let him chuckle for a bit before reacting.
“We have a deliberate brainstorming if they are going to follow my suggestion about you leading the drill. We are planning to take place here in the university every week, two times. They’re considering you, so I have a good impression.”
Rachel wondered if she had to accept the offer for his sake or for her experience.
“You have something to say, don’t you? I think it is right for you to say it now. Are you good at dancing?” Rachel had been on the thorough brainstorming with herself, wondering if she would get lost in a waltz dance that Ezekiel and her would do. A lot of trained thoughts went past her mind. Maybe a dance was not a good sign, after all.
