Chapter 22. Drills
Like she had been swept with cold water, Rachel immediately closed the door as she realized she hadn’t learned a lesson from Ezekiel’s camp. She’s going to lead the drill today and she had to be knowledgeable of what to do.
“What should I do?”
Rachel looked down and saw that she’s still in her nightwear. It was already 5 o’clock in the morning by the alarm clock at the bedside table. Rachel rampaged through her cabinet of gowns and panicked about the fact that she doesn’t have anything fit to decently wear at the drill.
She had a few fitted dresses that didn’t have ball gowns in it and it seemed that it disappeared at the moment. Rachel must have taken them to the laundry. She lost the wit to become the prettiest girl among the crowd later as she realized Ezekiel never taught her anything.
“I’m screwed. I forgot that I have responsibility.”
