Chapter 218

Cage finally makes it to his house. The weather had changed from a warm day to one filled with thunderstorm and rain. The rain drops hit Cage's car and windows. Cage parks safely into his garage as he looks at Lucy who's staring at him.

“What's the matter, why are you looking at me like that?” Cage asked Lucy.

“Don't tell me you have no umbrella and you intend to run under this rain?” Lucy asked.

“Well I do have an umbrella, unfortunately it's inside my house and not the car. But you don't have to run with me, I'd get the umbrella and come pick you” Cage said.

“Okay that's a better idea” Lucy said chuckling.

Cage smiled as he turned off the car, opening the door he jumped down as he ran out under the rain. He had goose bumps as ths raindrops hit his skin. It was a heavy downpour which soaked his clothes in seconds. He quickly grabbed an umbrella as he went out to fetch Lucy. Opening the door, Lucy handed him their bags.
