Chapter 89

Gage’s POV

Jane stirs in her sleep but still doesn’t wake up. Scarlett leaves a not for her to read when she eventually wakes up.

I fill in all areas of my body that is free enough with weapons, and I let Scarlett do the same. I stack up grenades and hide them in a pouch that I strap around my neck.

When we exit the hotel, people give way for us to move freely as we look too intimidating to be bumped into.

When we arrive at the airport, the leader of the men Amanda sent walks up to us. We give him a few instructions which include not shooting at Miguel and doing all it takes to keep Valentine and his men from getting to him first. He nods and passed the information back to his men.

We also demanded for backup from the agency and they meet up with us at the airport. Together, we make our way into the airport lounge with the exception of the Amanda’s men. They’ll be our informants at the outside.
