“Why did you… Why did you tell her that?” Savannah furrowed her brows, searching her pockets as if looking for something, even though she wasn’t. She was simply nervous and unsure how to feel at that moment.
Trevor smiled awkwardly, the kind of smile a guilty kid flashes after doing something wrong. “Well, I had no choice. She wanted to pursue me. She even said she’s willing to court me!” His lips quivered. “But I don’t want her to do that because I don’t… I don’t date girls younger than me… and, honestly…” He faked a cough and stuttered. “She’s not really my type.” He flashed another awkward smile.
Upon hearing this, Savannah felt a wave of relief wash over her. She had been nervous, thinking Trevor was about to reveal something serious.
