“Why did you… why did you tell her that?” Savannah’s brows furrowed. She then rummaged through her pockets as if she were trying to get something, but she really wasn’t. She was just nervous… and she didn’t know how or what to feel at that exact moment.

Trevor smiled awkwardly—the kind of smile a kid usually flashes when he has done something terrible and he’s guilty of it. “Well, I had no choice but to tell her that because she really wanted to pursue me.
