“Are you sure you can handle working as a part-timer while doing your hospital internship?” Selena asked Savannah, her face filled with concern. “I heard from your grandmother that you’re also struggling with your thesis, and it’s still not finished. Can you really handle all of this at once?” Her forehead furrowed with worry.

“Auntie Sel, trust me, I can handle it all,” Savannah replied, flashing a reassuring smile. She wanted to give her aunt some peace of mind.

“Savannah, dear, this is the first time I’m going to ask you this,” Selena sighed before continuing. “Why do you keep on pushing yourself like this? You know, your grandmother and grandfather can just provide you with everything… and you can just ask favors from me if you ever need something, and I will gladly give it to you because I love you. Why do you have to feel like you have to do all this hard work when you can just have it all easy?”
