Chapter 21. Mister and Miss Thomasian (1)

Savannah and Trevor had been pretending to be in a relationship for almost two weeks now, but it was the first time Trevor called Savannah ‘babe’ without Jeya around, and people nearby heard it. Secretly in love with him, Savannah felt her heart about to explode.

To compose herself, she went to the restroom. Looking in the mirror, she pointed at herself and said, “That was just him being goofy. He didn’t mean it. It was just a joke. He wouldn’t call you ‘babe’ because you’re best friends.” But her words hurt a little, so she decided to shake it off and pretend nothing had happened.
