Chapter 18. Pageant Preparation

It was their college sophomore year when Trevor and Savannah got chosen by their respective college deans to compete in the university foundation’s annual pageant—the Mister and Miss Thomasian. By this time, Savannah wasn’t that struggling anymore. She was still an academic scholar, and she was still working part-time every weekend at Imperial IT.

At first, both of them didn’t want to join the pageant, but when they heard about the incentives that would be given to them, they didn’t hesitate anymore and eventually accepted the offer to compete.

Since both of them were from different college programs—Savannah from the Medical Technology program and Trevor from the Marketing program—they were paired with different partners from the same programs. Savannah was paired with a higher year, while Trevor was paired with a lower year.
