Chapter 28. Miss Pretender
“Sav!” Sandra called out Savannah’s name, who was walking so fast. Because the sun was too bright and she was already sweating so much, Sandra was running out of breath and couldn’t walk faster anymore, just to keep up with Sav. She also decided to stop calling out her name, figuring Sav wouldn’t hear her anymore as the farther they walked from the restaurant, the more crowded the place was getting.
“Sav! Wait for us… You know you can rant every single thing to us!” Shirley exclaimed. Thankfully, Sav was able to hear her, so she stopped walking and waited for the two to catch up. As the two were walking toward her, she decided to sit on a bench near the beach, and as she sat down, her tears finally fell down her cheeks.
“Why was he acting like that? Am I that disgusting for him to react like that?” Sav covered her face with both hands as she sobbed. She did this because she didn’t want other people at the beach to hear her cry.
