“Thanks for tonight, Savannah…” Trevor uttered as he parked his car in front of Savannah’s house gate. “No… thank you for everything, Savannah. For all the times you’ve been there when I needed you. Since we were kids, you’ve always been by my side… whether I had problems or not. So… thank you…” he added before Savannah finally stepped out of his car.
Savannah once again felt the sting in her heart that she had been trying to forget since earlier. The pain intensified because she felt, with Trevor’s recent words, it was the end of an era for them.
