Chapter 64

James despite how he was “alarmed” at first is now calm though we are going towards the runway with growing speed.

“Any ideas?” I seek from James and he looks deep in thought.

“Okay. To begin the slow flight maneuver, clear the area gradually reduce thrust from cruise power, and adjust the pitch to allow the airspeed to decrease while maintaining altitude. As the speed of the airplane decreases, note a change in the sound of the airflow around the airplane.” James informs me and I gape.

What the hell?

This is impressive!

“Wow,” I say and he shrugs with a smile.

“That is, if my memory serves me right.” He replies.

“No, you’re right. That would work!” I say with hope in my voice.

“So let’s start with reducing thrust from the cruise power,” James says and we do exactly that.

After we followed his instructions, nothing much changed.

“It’s not working,” I complain and he blinks rapidly.

“James, it’s not working!” I say once more
