Chapter 105

“May I ask what you mean when you say that Naomi is back on the radar?” I ask Chad and I wait for his response.

We are all still in this room that resembles the rooms that are usually in hospitals. Robert is seated right next to me in a chair, Chad and Carlos are sitting on a huge brown leather couch while James stands at the doorway and lays his weight on the wall by using his back.

“What I mean is that since we took credit for Naomi killing the lieutenant, and collecting the one billion, I have had my eye out for her. I dated her in the past and even proposed to her, and I know for a fact that she is far from forgiving.” Chad explains, and I am a witness to it.

One time, when Chad and Naomi were still romantically together, Chad started texting his ex. It was innocent and he even told Naomi about it, but she was not having it. In the end, he gave up and listened to her; which was only because she had broken his phone on his head, giving him a mild concussion.
