“I just want to say that I’m sorry. I know I have said it over and over, but I could never say it enough to erase the pain that I have caused you.” Robert's voice startled me a bit. I was admiring the beauty of the sunbeams dancing on random objects.

“I won’t say that what you did didn’t hurt me, but I think I am ready to forgive. Just do not try that crap to me again, because next time, I will skin you alive with my dagger.” I say to him seriously and he gulps while nodding.

“Sounds fair to me.” He replies and I smile.

He stands up from his chair and closes the distance between us.

“So does that mean that I can do this?” He asks as he places a soft kiss on my neck.

Goosebumps immediately rise on my skin when his lips make contact with my neck. I have truly missed this man’s touch. I have even had several sex dreams when I was away from him, so now that it is happening, my entire body is trembling and longing for him.
