“And how about the neighbors?” He asks and I smile at the memory of when I had to explain to the middle-aged Korean couple with no kids that Robert and I had a fight and needed somewhere to stay.

“They are just a middle-aged couple, they might send flowers, but I don’t think a whole medium-sized package,” I argue and Robert devours everything on his plate, even eating the entire bowl of oats and blueberries. I guess he was really hungry.

After we have eaten, we all go to the living room and wait for our guest and his lawyer. Matilda brings Jake to Robert and he is playing with him. I have the package that was brought and it is on my lap. 

It seems not too heavy but also not too light too, I can not imagine what it could be. 

“Come on, open it, and let’s see what’s inside,” Robert suggests and I nod with a smile of nervousness planted on my face. I ripped the plastic that sealed the box and the sound startled Jake. Not making him scared, but making him laug
