Chapter 219

When we reach the elevator, it takes a few seconds before it opens. And when it does, who we see makes me almost lose my breath.

He’s standing in the elevator with his hands in his pockets, just staring and smiling at us cynically.

“What the hell are you doing here?” My father launches towards him and holds him up against the elevator wall.

He lifts his hands in surrender and smirks.

There are other people in the lobby and most of them seem to be looking at us.

“Let’s get in.” My mother says, obviously noticing that we are causing a scene. If my father continues, the police might be called in no time.
