Why does everything keep getting worse?

“Chad..” I begin, but he interrupts me.

“I know...we need to get there.” He says with a genuine smile.

“I don’t want to you worry about Patrick or the Lieutenant. I will take care of it all.” I say and I mean it.

“You’re one of the greatest IT or tech people I know. I just need you to focus on moving our funds out of those frozen accounts and into an offshore one. I will personally take care of the Lieutenant real soon.” I add as we both turn around and begin to jog back toward the CEO’s compound.

My days are usually eventful but unlike the past three days of my life. It has been crazy.

I was given a target that I didn’t kill, which is a first for me, and has me feeling insecure about my ability as an assassin.

Robert Jones was the easiest target in my entire career, and I seriously messed it up.

Now I had to kill my client, Victor Sans, who thought that he could treat me like one of his henchmen.
