“I know, I know.” He says as he walks past me and into the kitchen. He looks ridiculous with his white shirt tied around his waist like a towel.

“Don’t you ‘I know’ me,” I say as I follow him into the kitchen.

He has gotten an empty glass and he is filling it up in the sink.

“How dare you bring her to my house?” I ask him as I try my best not to yell or raise my voice.
